Devices like these are made to breakdown after a few months (internally) without proper care, which is what the companies want, they want the average buyer to keep having to purchase new devices to replace their old broken ones. If you look after an iPhone so that it lasts longer than its expiry date, then you would be the kind of person who would be careful enough to not drop it. Physical durability should NOT be a motivating factor when deciding which one to get.
